Ordering

General Ordering Information

  • There is no minimum order requirement

  • We sell our products to anyone who would like to order them

  • Generally orders are shipped within 24 hours, except when placed on a Saturday or major holiday

  • We suggest ordering six to eight weeks in advance of when you will need your parts

  • We do not accept backorders
  • Most of our parts are manufactured in-house; we order some of our hardware from outside companies
  • We do not accept COD orders

Scheduled Closures

  • Saturdays and Sundays
  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

Orders placed on these days will be processed on the next business day


Pricing

  • Dropouts, shims, and barrel nuts are the only items that are sold in pairs; everything else is sold individually

  • Half pairs of dropouts are available at sixty percent of retail price (not available for online purchase)

  • We do not offer wholesale (industry) pricing, instead we offer quantity discounts:

    • Order 10-24 parts and receive a 7.7% discount off retail price.

    • Order 25-49 parts and receive a 15.4% discount off retail price.

    • Order 50+ parts and receive a 23% discount off retail price.

  • Quantity discounts do not apply to clearance items.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.


Back Ordered Items

  • We strive to maintain a stock of all items

  • The length of time until they are available depends on:

    • Material availability

    • Machine availability

    • Demand for the product

  • Receive an email by clicking on the "Notify me when this product is in stock" link on the product page

    • You must be signed into your online account for this function to work

  • Clearance items are not available for back-order


Buying Direct

  • We do not have a retail store but can accommodate pick-up orders between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • We request that you:

    • Call in advance to make sure that someone is available to process your order.

    • Call in or email your order before you arrive.

    • Provide us with part numbers for the items you want to order.

    • Pay in advance with a credit card or bring exact change; we do not have any cash on hand

We accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, and Paypal


Net 30 Terms

To be put on terms you will need to:

  • Complete, sign, and e-mail or mail a copy of our Credit Application Form to orders(at)paragonmachineworks.com

    • E-mail orders(at)paragonmachineworks.com for an application

  • Have your line of credit approved by us

  • Agree to take responsibility for all debts incurred

California Tax Exempt Orders

  • E-mail a copy of your California Resale Certificate to orders(at)paragonmachineworks.com

    • This is not the same as your Seller’s Permit

  • If you do not have an online account, set one up through our website

  • We will verify your tax exempt status and update your internal and online accounts

  • If you place an order prior to setting up a tax exempt account, you will be charged sales tax

    • We are unable to refund sales tax once your order has been placed

  • We will send you e-mail confirmation once your accounts have been updated to tax exempt status


Defective Parts and Items Sent in Error

  • Notify us within thirty days of purchase and you will be sent the replacement parts at no charge

  • A return shipment label will be provided so that you can return any parts sent in error


Order Cancellation

Due to fees charged by our payment processing companies, cancelled orders will be assessed a 15% processing fee


Combining Orders

  • We will do our best to accommodate your request to combine orders if they are placed on the same day
  • Due to fees charged by our payment processing companies,  a 5% processing fee will be assessed

Return Policy

  • Products must be returned in original condition within 30 days of invoice date
  • A credit will be provided for items returned within 31 - 60 days of invoice date
  • No returns will be accepted:
    • After 60 days
    • For products that have been previously installed
    • On skewers
  • All returned products will be assessed a 15% restocking fee
  • Returns are not accepted on discontinued or clearance items unless there is a manufacturing defect and the part is not useable
  • When returning items:
    • Include a copy of your original packing slip or invoice
    • Wrap the items carefully
  • Refunds will not be given for damaged or previously used items.
  • Credits will be refunded through the original form of payment.

Disclaimer

  • Paragon Machine Works guarantees all work against defects in material and workmanship

  • We are financially liable only for the cost of our product(s)

  • In no event shall Paragon Machine Works be liable for incidental or consequential damage

  • We are not liable for components that have been welded, brazed, soldered or modified in any way

  • We try ensure that the information on our web site is correct, but we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors

    • We greatly appreciate being notified of incorrect information

  • Product specifications and pricing are subject to change without notice
